This sterling silver baby rattle features an angel/cherub and a loop for small fingers. 

It has impressed sterling silver hallmarks on the neck as well as the maker's mark (signature) - Spanish artist Pedro Morales Duran.

There are no dents or dings. There are two air holes at the base of the wings. This piece is in like-new condition - highly desirable for a collector!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Spanish Platero, of Galician origin, born in 1860. He/She completed his training in Santiago de Compostela, where he/she alternated studies in the school of Arts and crafts and the practice directly in the workshop of the silversmith Eduardo Rey, where really became familiar with all the techniques of silverware: casting, forging, notching, chiselled, polished, etc. He trained with the best goldsmiths in Europe and established himself and his name by founding the Royal House name to PEDRO DURÁN in 1899. Despite his passing in 1938, the company continues to produce the finest sterling silver without losing its traditional value.
